Gay Cosmo-ish Quiz: How Great is Your Blog--In Bed?

1) Where do you do most of your blogging?
            a) At a desk, where serious writers compose.
            b) Wherever the mood strikes, I’m wireless.
            c) In bed. I’m most creative when the kids are down, the tv’s on and when I really should be turning out the lights.

2) How do you respond when hubby (or wife) asks you to put away the computer?
            a) Immediately hit save realizing that my marriage relationship is of the utmost importance.
            b) Tease him a little for being jealous of a silly ol’ blog then work for five more minutes.

c) Hold up a hand and tell him to talk to it. I’m not shutting down until I’ve read, edited, reread and then posted. Who cares if it’s three hours later.

3) When your husband gives you “the look” do you:
            a) Take the offer! And we’re “lost in each other’s eyes” for the whole night.
            b) Heck yes! And let’s try what we saw on page 82. Then I’ll blog about it!

c) Roll my eyes, which is my signature look, reluctantly agree, set the computer aside and think of various blog topics instead of being “lost in his eyes”.

4) How open is your bedroom on your blog?
            a) I’m a serious blogger. I don’t go there.
            b) I’ll bring it up every once in a while, writing in code and innuendo.
            c) Honey, that’s what I’m all about. If it happens it’s going on the blog: the good, the bad and the ugly. In the bedroom, in the boardroom, it all gets posted.

5) Your blog is your:
            a) Best Friend. A place to go to talk and get support. There’s a good balance.
            b) Boyfriend. I spend time with it, but know when enough is enough. It’s there to nurture.
            c) Maniacle Lover. I’m either blogging or I’m dying. There’s nothing else I’d rather be doing than blogging.

Mostly As:
You own your blog, your blog doesn’t own you. You have specific topics you write about and you rarely go off course. You have the blogging thing under control…maybe too much control. You may want to loosen up a bit or that seriously wound rubber band is going to snap. Think outside the box every once in a while. Blog in your underwear. Blog about your underwear.

Mostly Bs:
You use your blog to its fullest advantage. You’re up to trying new bloggy things out, but you know your limits. Your husband still loves you too, so it looks like you’re striking a good balance! Keep up the good work! (And let us know how page 82 turns out).


Mostly Cs:
There’s Holly Go Lightly, and then there’s Holly Obsessed. Lay off a little or your only friends may be in the blogosphere. Think about taking a break from blogging. Even if it’s just for an afternoon. Start with baby steps and gradually work your way out of your blogging black hole. I promise you, your husband will thank me. And so will your life.
